She was born in Thessaloniki. She is a Librarian graduate of the Library Science Department of the School of Management and Economics of TEI Thessaloniki.
Along with her studies she was working in a large law firm as a secretary and she was in charge of classifying archival material and its magazines.
She worked as a librarian (1991-1992) at the Institute of Export Research and Studies of the Exporters’ Association of Northern Greece where she also participated in the writing of the catalogue of the Εuropartenariat ’92 that was organized in Thessaloniki by SEVE in collaboration with HELLEXPO, as well as with the collection, audit and registration in a database of the under publication “Exporters οf Northern Greece 1993 Catalogue”.
Furthermore, she worked at the libraries of the Municipality of Ampelokipi under a fixed-term contract and for a year as adjunct professor at the Classification Lab at the Library Science Department of TEI.
In 1993 she was permanently appointed as a SATP librarian at the School of Drama at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in 2000 she was promoted to LTS, in 2012 το SLTP II and finally as a first degree STP.
While employed as a librarian at the School of Drama, she worked towards the establishment, the organization and the operation of the Department’s Library.
She is in charge of organizing training seminars on the proper use of the Department’s Library and she is part of the teaching team for the course “Introduction to Successful Academic Writing”.
She is a member of the Association of Greek Librarians and a member of the Library Committee of the School of Drama and often a member of the Department’s Committee for the collection of items – materials, books, etc.
She attends library conferences and seminars that are organized by the Central Library of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki or other libraries of greek universities, to enrich her scientific knowledge and current with new developments in her specialty.
