The School of Drama is a member of ELIA (European League of Institutes of the Arts, representative: Anna Stavrakopoulou) and of ARC-NET (European Network of Research and Documentation of Performances of Ancient Greek Drama, representative: Eleni Papazoglou).
The School has established collaborations with foreign institutions of higher education under the SOCRATES-ERASMUS programme of exchanges (Freie Universitaet Berlin, Universite d’Avignon et des Pays de Vaucluse, Universite de la Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris III, Universita degli Studi di Genova, University of Exeter, Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dramatico). In addition to these exchanges, the Department participates very actively in Balkan and European university theatre events, like SETKANI (Intrernational Festival or Theatre Schools) in Brno, Czech Republic, and the Meeting of Students of the Balkan Faculties and Academies of Dramatic Arts (SKOMRAHI) in Skopje.
In 1999, the Drama School Student Association organized the 3rd Balkan Festival of University Theatre Schools, in Thessaloniki.
PRAGUE QUADRENNIAL OF PERFORMANCE DESIGN AND SPACE
Since 2003, the School of Drama participates regularly at the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space.
