In the 11th Prague Quadrennial, the School of Drama participated again, this time independently, in the fields of theater architecture and university faculties.
In the field of theatrical architecture the School of Drama presented the conversion of the old cinema “Kleio” into a theater. In the field of the University faculties, Stage Design students entered the two competitions, titled “Babel” and “Birds” respectively, which were set by the International Organization of Scenographers, Architects and Technicians (OISTAT). The student of the School of Drama Elisa Alexandropoulou was honored for her work, titled Biblical Hovering Aspects, in the section «Babel» with the gold metal of the Unesco Prize for the Promotion of Performing Arts at the Prague Quadrennial.
